How do you upgrade a weapon/armour? Can you stack runes? What is the max + a attribute can you have? Are there any penalties associated with it?

You can upgrade weapons/armor by double clicking on the rune and then clicking on the item you would like to upgrade.

It's not possible to stack runes, I wish it was.. I'd have so much more space on my storage account. Oh well.

Max is 3, penalties are there for some runes yes.
